The Ronald Howard Sherlock Holmes TV series aired in 1954-55 and starred Ronald Howard as Sherlock Holmes and Howard Marion-Crawford as Dr. Watson. The series was filmed in France, though set in London, and consisted of 39 half-hour episodes shot in black and white.
